Ad esempio, questo è il caso di Blue Jay, film diretto da Alex Lehmann, basato sulla sceneggiatura di Mark Duplass. Lo stesso Duplass è uno dei protagonisti, affiancato da Sarah Paulson (nota principalmente per American Horror Story). Rigorosamente da vedere in lingua originale, il film è una riflessione sui sentimenti, sul tempo, sulle scelte che abbiamo fatto e sulle strade che non abbiamo percorso. Empezamos la marcha que se inicia con las fingidas buenas formas, recogimiento social educado que da lugar al estallido abrumador, la explosión de adrenalina emocional, el caos y enfrentamiento de las verdades dichas y las rencillas descubiertas, la escena de tormenta suprema de descontrol y atropello que precede y da lugar a la calma, recogimiento y amor de unos por otros para reponer sus destrozadas vidas y seguir adelante con una sonrisa y satisfacción plena.
