Or if you really just want to lay waste to the idea that this is the season of giving, cue up Billy Bob Thornton in Bad Santa. Which is to say that the funniest Christmas movies may not quite embody the spirit we're told to believe the holiday must espouse. But the best comedy has always brought an aggressive counterpoint to unthinking cheer in a way that allows us to laugh rather than run away in horror. (Though there's always room for Charlie Brown to make us believe again, albeit with a sly chuckle. )

Reviewed in the United States on December 6, 2012 Verified Purchase A Very Harold and Kumar Christmas follows the title characters as they search for the perfect Christmas tree on Christmas Eve; throughout their adventure, they encounter plenty of drugs, a notorious gangster and his henchmen, Santa Claus, NPH, and much more. Although it's not as great as the first two films, A Very Harold and Kumar Christmas is a fun, raunchy Christmas comedy with some great moments. I also enjoyed the Holiday-theme and tones, which are complimented by the great Christmas soundtrack and vibrant colors; it really has the potential to become a holiday tradition, at least for myself. I also enjoyed the claymation segment. Although I enjoyed it, I didn't find the same "spark" the first two had, and it just simply isn't as memorable; it took more than one viewing to really appreciate it. I purchased the "A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas (Blu Ray) [Blu-ray]" which came with the Blu-Ray, DVD, and Ultraviolet copy for $9.
Couldn't be happier! Region 1 work's in USA and the 2D blu ray is the extended cut with 6 extra minutes. The case, 3D blu ray dvd, blu ray dvd and dvd were just like I bought it new and took the plastic wrap off myself. It was listed Used-Like New and it was! I love this movie and have always wanted the 3D blu ray to add to my 3D movie collection. It's getting harder and harder to get 3D blu rays these days unless you have a 3D blu ray player that is region free and shop the UK or Australian market place which is region 2 and still selling 3D TVs. Amazon in America sells 4k blu ray/3D blu ray/blu ray/dvd region free players so you can view out of country blu rays. If you're into 3D blu rays and have a 3D TV then I suggest picking up a region free 3D blu ray player so you can take advantage of region 2 English speaking 3D movies, Amazon has a good selection!
