The download process was a little convoluted though. It was not just an installer, but a downloader/installer. Probably because of the 'licensing' required. This update is with regard to a screen black-out I have been encountering. So I have almost figured out why the screen blacks out either during game transitions (from one track to another track), or, as I try to exit the game and never get back my windows desktop. The screen stays blank/black. The PC is still running, but I cannot see anything on the screen. Reset/turned-off-on the TV, plugged in/out HDMI and in some cases, the desktop comes back (but the cars 2 game) app is still running in the background and I have to choose log-off/reboot to recover the system. I read up in various forums and it started to look like the graphics card has something to do with it. I have a low-profile HTPC and cannot put very high-end graphics cards (which don't come in low profile form factor). And it looks like the Nvidia GT430 based card is not good for full 1920x1080 with "full" resolution gaming - it works, but for sometime only. I configured the game to be in 1600x900 and "low" graphics, and the blank screens are now very very less frequent and allow much longer play times.
