L'uomo si presenta all'interno della sede di questa società che peraltro è anche la sede dell'azienda con cui ha lavorato per tanti anni per quanto riguarda la realizzazione di elenchi telefonici. Inizialmente non viene tanto preso in considerazione ma dopo aver dimostrato di essere in possesso di tanta competenza e professionalità diventa di fatto una sorta di assistente personale della proprietaria dell'azienda. La proprietaria è una giovane donna in carriera sposata con un uomo che ama tantissimo e dal quale ha avuto una splendida bambina ma che tuttavia dedica troppo tempo al suo lavoro praticamente non occupandosi mai del marito e della stessa figlia. Ben si dimostra un uomo di grande capacità di capire le situazioni ed infatti si rende conto immediatamente come ci sia una problematica nel rapporto tra la donna e il marito che a quanto sembra è stato quasi costretto a tradirla per poter ottenere la sua attenzione.
