Edit Storyline Debbie, a secretary and Howard, a script writer are celebrating their wedding anniversary at home. Or so she thought. A special night together turns into a nightmare when Howard lets a man, Silk into the house to use the phone. Besides the car trouble that brought him to the door, he also brings along a string of frightening murders. Debbie then finds out that her husband and best friend, Tammy set a hit on her, just to earn a lot of money. But all of that backfires on everyone, especially Debbie, who gets shot by her own husband and dies, but still gets revenge on him after her demise. Illumination Entertainment has made a mark in Hollywood very quickly; their films are made cheaply, feature big-name stars, and rake in a lot of dough. All'origine del suo successo vi è in realtà la sua produttrice ed ex amante Clare Daley ( Lola Albright), che lo aveva scoperto in Canada, a Toronto, dove recitava in parti di scarsa importanza, sotto altro nome d'arte. Clare è una dominatrice e persino il marito Sid ( Alan Manson) è costretto ad obbedire anche se è co-produttore con Clare della serie in questione, ma si consola della sua sudditanza dalla moglie con la segretaria Molly ( Shera Danese). In particolare, l'ultimo capriccio di Clare è quello di voler aumentare ancora il già lauto stipendio di Fowler, con la scusa che se questi lascia la serie al termine del contratto, i coniugi Daley si trovano sul lastrico. In realtà Clare sa benissimo che Fowler non la lascerà mai poiché lei ha informazioni sul suo passato che lo rovinerebbero come attore, fatto che le consente di ricattarlo pretendendo indietro in nero una parte dei suoi guadagni. Così egli decide di ucciderla ed allo scopo inscena una falsa rapina ad un negozio ove sa che, quella sera, Clare si recherà andando ad un appuntamento.
