I have been watching this over & over. I am now 61 yrs. But the movie has brought back such great, fond memories, I have been crying thru the whole movie. Sitting next to me are pictures of my dad, mom, & my really special grandparents, all of whom I miss terribly. Reviewed in the United States on September 10, 2016 Verified Purchase I first saw "Romeo and Juliet" when I was a college junior majoring in English. I knew that in live productions that they were typically played by much older actors-actors this young were unheard of! The movie did not tamper with Shakespeare's beautiful poetry. The actors, who were unknown, were the age of the star crossed lovers. They were luminous and brought the tragedy to life in a way that had never been done before. Over the years, I have watched this movie many times and Shakespeare's poetry and the innocence of Romeo and Juliet were both apparent. I have seen other productions of Shakespeare-both live and on film and this one surpasses them all! I hope that people, seeing it for the first time, are as moved and enchanted as I was and am!

La famille Roy possède l'un des plus grands conglomérats mondiaux avec à sa tête Logan, sa progéniture souhaitant prendre le contrôle de l'entreprise: les gens d'argent pouvant tout obtenir de la cour toxique qui les entoure, plantons le décor d'une famille déjantée et défaillante moralement: - Logan, le patriarche vieillissant, acariâtre et autoritaire - Connor, le fils aîné dilettante vivant avec une call-girl - Kendall, le successeur a priori naturel et en proie à ses dépendances - Roman, le benjamin dépravé et odieux - Shiv, la fille usant de son pouvoir dans la politique. Filmé comme un quasi-documentaire sur le pouvoir de l'argent dans le monde des médias et de la politique, il n'en demeure pas moins que le scénario, les dialogues (on dirait parfois des scènes de théâtre), les retournements de situation sont particulièrement haletants, et ce à chaque épisode: impossible de décrocher, chaque scène qui peut passer d'un claquement de doigt du comique au tragique, est à flux tendu.
